Health is a journey, let's go on it together...
Dr. Briana Duga hasn't always been this passionate about hacking our bodies to best perform in our current American lifestyle. After graduating with honors from Life University in Marietta, Georgia she stayed at home with her three young children. She was overweight, tired, and to top it off, her baby boy (now 7 years old) was diagnosed with Eczema. This was the igniting factor that led her and her husband, Dr. Seth LaFlamme to incorporate Paleo lifestyle principles into their daily routine. They both lost 50 lbs., are engaged with their children and have found that though eating the right things for their bodies, incorporating movement in to their daily lives and other modifications, they changed their lives, and the lives of their children.
Dr. Bri graduated from College of the Atlantic, in Bar Harbor ME in 2004 with a B.A. in Human Ecology. That's a fancy way of saying the study of a person and their interactions with their many environments. This lends her to be uniquely qualified to "hack" our bodies best express the innate wisdom and intelligence of the body in the context of out American lifestyle.
She graduated Cum Laude in 2010 from Life University, in Marietta, GA. With her Chiropractic Doctorate in hand, she and her husband moved back to Southern Maine to raise their family.
Whatever health goal you may have, it can always be supported and strengthened by a stronger, more robust nervous system. As she likes to say, "Your body is smarter then anyone has ever allowed you to believe."
P.S. She also has more than a year of postgraduate training in advanced pediatrics including her Webster certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (www.icpa4kids.org).
